Classical Progression is a full service design, construction and interiors company with its home base and offices in Malibu, Santa Monica and Indian Wells, California. Our philosophy is to work with our clients to integrate classic design into inspired environments often by adapting recycled materials and antiques from around the world into cutting edge, progressive buildings. Over the last 30 years, Classical Progression has incorporated its philosophy into the design and development of over 600 projects, including homes and commercial properties in Malibu, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Brentwood, Hollywood, Palm Springs, Napa Valley and Italy.
Classical Progression's design and construction studio is led by its founder, Kevin J. Cozen, who works together with his wife Carolynn and daughter Skylar.

Kevin J. has always had a passion for discovering and uncovering beauty in the unexpected. Looking to the past for inspiration and the future for progressive and innovative methods of building and engineering, Classical Progression Inc. reflects Kevin's unique ability to create one of a kind environments and experiences using unusual, creative, and stimulating elements.
California born, he studied architecture at Southern California Institute of Architecture where he graduated top of his class. Over the past thirty years in the industry, Kevin has designed real estate masterpeices for clients including the Hilton Family, Sean W. Scott, Pat Benetar, World Surf League and Seven For All Mankind Jeans, along with production designing prominant feature films including Frailty, Imposter, and Living Out Loud. His style is best characterized for its dramatic response to its contemporary forms, ultimately creating perfection out of the unexpected.
CAROLYNN R. COZEN
Interior Design
Born in Melbourne, Austrialia, Carolynn came to the U.S. in high school pursuing her talent as a classical pianist. She went on to study architecture at Southern California Insititue of Architecture where she and Kevin met. She is a licensed Real Estate Agent with Sotheby's and provides real estate expertise for Classical Progression's clients. She leads the Interior Design division and is responsible for material and fixture selections, color palates, furnishings and more.
SKYLAR COZEN - STREIT
Managing Partner and Designer
Skylar grew up in Malibu , CA amongst the constant chaos of design and construction. It was ingrained in her from the beginning! She later went on to study architecture at Barnard College of Columbia University and received her architecture degree. After working for a few large real estate holding companies and managing their large scale construction projects, Skylar joined her family at Classical Progression.
